The diminishing darkness
leaves its subtle beauty
upon the man made structures
that dominate the sky
Lights from within the buildings
create beauty against the backdrop
of the morning darkness
slowly being consumed by the sun's mighty brightness
Empty streets fill to capacity
as city dwellers awake
The mundane reality of life
is as beautiful as it is sickening
Thus begins a new day
another day this day today
