Leaves a welcoming
of color scattering
across the landscape
Lovers holding hands
on a bench smiling
at one another
Lovers so young
The taste of reality
has yet to bitter
their perceptive
belief and here
on this beautiful
loving day he
moves In closer
for a kiss from her
soft tender lips
Embracing they're
holding one another
so closely together
I see the sun above
I feel the warmth
consuming me
Though I can't help
but wonder how long
how long until It all
just fades Into the dying
winter that Is coming
to take It all Into
It's dying grasp
Just like the perceptive
belief the lies that no
longer will hold together
after so many years
when Isolation to
your thoughts your
secrets and that which
can't be told even to those
you trust because In the end
the truth really does hurt
The perception misconception
Silence silently they'll die
